B e a t S
from heartbeat to drumbeat
a youth exchange on
finding your soul's rhythm
11 - 20 June,
B E A T S
As a society, one of the most important concepts we need to come to terms with is group consciousness, and the fact that the combined mental energies of all humanity create the psychic atmosphere of our planet. With all of the problems in the world, it is clear to see that our collective consciousness hasn't been very high. It is important that we start taking responsibility, individually and collectively, of what we are creating on a daily basis, through our thoughts, emotions, and actions.
One aspect of that is consciously choosing where we focus our energy, and moving it towards a higher good.
As part of the evolutionary process of our planet, groups of light workers need to come together and perform ceremonies that send Universal Love and positive mental images of peace, life and joy into the planetary energy grid.
For this reason, we are opening the space of the project Beats to synchronise our heartbeat to the heartbeat of Mother Earth, to the heartbeat of the whole of humanity.
Using music, movement, and mindfulness as our main tools, we are carving a new way of being in the world that is in tune with our own inner rhythm and with the rhythm of our planetary evolution, amplifying our inherent, unique gifts for the collective benefit.
As a result of this program, we will host a Ceremony for Planetary Peace and Healing, opening it up for the larger public of anyone who might wish to attend it in person, and for our communities back at home as it will be streamed online.
PLAYING ON THE INSTRUMENT
of your own beating heart
Music and drumming has been a central part of the healing arts for what seems like forever. When groups of people come together and chant or sing in a harmonious manner, they are sending balancing, harmonious energy into the energy grid of the planet.
Music, song and dance has also been in the glue keeping our communities together.
Perhaps it's because rhythm in music helps us to sync up our brains and coordinate our body movements with others, leading to greater social cohesion and connection.
The traditions and knowledge of drums, the songs, the rhythms, the music and the movement accompanying it has been passed down from generation to generation for thousands of years.
While nowadays it is rare to have that wisdom passed right down to us, we are certain that we can find ways in which to utilise these tools for the benefit of our individual and collective healing.
this is for you if
We especially welcome musical virtuosos, visual artists of all kinds, wildlings in love with all things natural, social media gurus and communicators, dancers, movers and shakers - everyone with a hippy in their heart!
For six days, we will do all in our power to establish a sense of inner ease and connection, elevating our own vibration and embodying the world we wish to live in.
As we envision and prepare our Planetary Peace and Healing ceremony, you will be asked to share your gifts with the rest of the tribe, trying out different activities on music, movement, mindfulness and other areas in order to see what fits the ceremony format most.
We will also work hard to befriend the local community and spread the word about our event to the larger public online.
We really intend to make this count!

THE FINAL CEREMONY
for Planetary Peace & Healing
Under the guarding canopy of seven large oak trees, you take the hand of a complete stranger in your palm, looking into their eyes and feeling a deep sense of knowing - we are in this together.
Forming a circle of thousands of light workers across all time and space - people who are dedicating their creative powers to bring into being a world that works for everyone.
As you plant your bare feet in the warm, soft earth; as you listen to the sound of a drum beating in the background, you recognise the rhythm of the drumbeat as the rhythm of your own heartbeat. And you know that the heart beating inside of you is also the heart of our Mother Earth. You are nature, and just as cells in the human body work tirelessly to bring it into perfect balance, so are you working your light to bring the planet into perfect balance and harmony.
You feel yourself starting to move with the rhythm and you notice that all of the people gathered here have also started to move. The movement feels like a wave, it comes and it goes, and the circle has become one living, breathing organism.
All of your thoughts are gone, and you find yourself just enjoying the flow of life.
Time has stopped. Any sense of separation has disappeared, too. You feel and know yourself as part of the One.
As you surrender to the moment, the one thing that you are still aware of is your breath. With every inhalation you are drawing in precious life force energy that fills up your whole being, illuminating your body with light. Your heart overflows with love, and as you exhale you breathe out that overflow into the energy grid of our planet, to the farthest corners of the world, to places that need healing the most. And you know - as you send love to the world, it returns to you, as well.
In your breath you have drawn the prayers of all of humanity and as you visualise the whole planet light up, you know that they have been answered.
May peace prevail on Earth.
We remind you that this project is a youth exchange happening under the Erasmus+ frame. The team of the project are not certified teachers or therapists, and the attitude we keep throughout the project is ''I create my own reality'', which means taking full responsibility for your own experience.
We are here, creating BEATS - From Heartbeat to Drumbeat together, which will require your full involvement in all of the project stages - preparation (specific tasks will be explained after confirmation), program activities (that include you delivering your own workshops as part of the community exchange), and the local follow-up phase (bringing your discoveries back to your community in the form of a locally implemented workshop, discussion or another get-together).
Care for planet is what drives this project, and so we also strive to implement zero-waste and Leave No Trace principles, making sure we leave the forest and the venue in a better condition than we found them. We reduce what we need, reuse as much as we can, send little to be recycled, and compost what we cannot. For this reason, we also ask you to take extra care for what you bring with you and how you show up in this project, limiting all waste both in terms of trash and unnecessary packaging, and also when using water, electricity and other resources of our planet.
a meeting point of
During our gathering we will settle on a piece of land on the outskirts of a tiny shop-free village Bajari approximately 35 km from Riga.
There will be access to electricity and water, but no permanent housing or fancy washrooms. We will have a larger tent for gatherings, but sleeping will happen under make-shift roofs, tents or hammocks, in your own sleeping bags. Whatever creature comforts you might need, bring them with you! A detailed list on the advised equipment will come with the confirmation letter.
As a rule, we are creating a space free from drugs and alcohol. This applies to all 9 days of the program.
In case of disrespect for this rule, you might be asked to leave the program with no chance for reimbursement.
THE ACCOMMODATION MIGHT BE HUMBLE
but the food will
During the course of our journey, you will be nourished with fully plant-based, home cooked and sugar free meals that will fill your belly and your heart!
Here are some of the comments we've heard from our participants:
So many thanks to the cook! I have not eaten anything so good for such a long time!
The food was divine!!!
EXTRAORDINARY DELICIOUS FOOD!
I would give 10 to the food, but the scale has maximum 5!
Wish to have a recipe book for that!
The meals were balanced, healthy and delicious.
I never felt so well treated with the food, it was delicious, beautiful and prepared with love.
Best week of food I've had in all my life.
